Birchbox October 2016

Hey guys,

Yet again a post that should of happened the minute I got it.
This months birchbox design has got to be my favourite.
They sent us one depending on our star signs.
I'm an Aquarius so I got an air box and let me say it now holds some of my liquid lipsticks.

Like how gorgeous is this box?!?

The first item is a Bodyism beauty supplement.
I'm not the biggest fan of these as its not an item I am drawn to.
I will always forget to take it.
This will also go in the donate box.

The next item is a Lord and Berry lip pencil.
I love these pencils I already own a red one.
This retails for £12.
It is in the colour intimacy.
It's the perfect autumn winter/shade.

The next item is from a brand I have heard loads from.
This is the Olehenriksen truth serum.
I know that this brand is expensive.
It is a nice little sample for you to try.

Next item is another beauty box repeat offender.
This is the rituals Sakura body cream.
I have not tried this yet.
I have a huge back up of body creams and lotions.

This item I thought was a bit gimmicky.
It is a douxe me, pure spring mist.
I have been using this on my no make up days.
This is amazing and so good to refresh my make up.

The last item is number 4, fluro5 exlixer restore and repair oil.
I have yet to try this.
It is a teeny tiny bottle though.
I will try this soon and maybe I'll like it.

Over the two boxes glossybox was definitely my favourite.
I cannot wait for the next few months as Christmas boxes always top everything else.

Models Own Haul

Hey Guys,

Recently Models Own opened their first shop in Westfield Stratford.
I was so surprised how many make up products they actually had and it was not just nail polish.
The sales women were amazing and so helpful and really knew each product inside and out.
I was so impressed by the knowledge.
The shop itself is a decent size and all the products are laid out perfectly.

Lets ignore the fact I did these pictures in my pajamas.
This is the blush palette in Rock n Rosy.
This is the perfect autumnal palette.
When we went in when it was on offer.
Instead of £14.99 it was £9.99.

The next was a models own liquid lipstick.
This has a whipped texture.
This is the colour Eucalyptus pink.
It is a stunning shade.
I am in love with it.
Such a perfect berry shade.
I Have been wearing this so much.

The next two items are items from their facial range.
This is their matte foundation.
Which is full coverage and I mean it.
Also their concealer that has properties to help heal spots.
I love these both and they have both come into the routine when I need them.

The final item is one of my favourites.
This is a liquid highlighter.
This is the rose gold highlight.
1) look at that colour
2) this lasts all day
3) I have fallen in love with this.
This can be used in two ways.
One as an everyday glowy highlight and two you can mix it in with your foundation to make it look like you are glowing from within.

I spent over £40 so i got a free make up bag.
It is perfect for travel.

Have you tried anything from models own??
Whats your favourite item???

October Glossybox 2016

Hey guys,

So I had a little break because of uni and having so much to write.
I know this is a late post but when have I ever been on time with the posts.
This months glossybox was a mixed bag but there is normally one product I don not like anyway and that is just because of personal preferences.

This months box was curated by Estee Lalonde.
Also known as Essie Button.
I love her blog and youtube.
She is a Canadian living in London.
She makes predominantly beauty and fashion videos.

The first thing I pulled out is part of the Primark make up range.
This is the PS pro translucent powder.
I have not tried this yet but it looks good enough for baking.
The powder is finely milled and retails for £5.

The next item is from a brand called Ubeauty.
This is their secret flush lip and cheek tint.
I do not like this sort of product I never use them.
This will be put in a donate box.

The next item was a mystery product.
It was announced on the 18th that it was a head and shoulders shampoo.
It was a really nice extra for this month.

The next is a bee good product.
I have previously tried bee good before.
This is the honey and camelina exfoliator.
This is rather gentle and smells amazing.
I use exfoliators so much so I love great ones.

The next product is a glossybox repeat.
The brand is NUXE.
I got something from them back in February.
This brand is expensive and in my opinion I do not think its worth it.

The last item is from a brand I have never heard of before.
This is from Trifle cosmetics.
The only down side to this product is the pricing for cardboard packaging.
I'd end up getting it wet and ruining it or something because I am so clumsy.

Six products for £10 plus p&p is amazing.

Did you get this months glossybox??
What is your opinion?

The Smashbox Gift set

Hey guys,

So the other day I popped into boots to look at their new Christmas gift sets.
So get used to there being loads of gift sets happening in future posts.
This set is retailed for £30 but retail value is something like £72.
The set is called Smashbox Light it up studio best sellers.
You can find it here.

Inside the kit you get 5 products.
3 full sized items and 2 very deluxe sized samples.

The first item is smashbox L.A lights Blendable Lip and cheek colour in Hollywood.
It is a highlight and it is so creamy and pigmented I have not tried it on my face yet but I'm ready to.

The next item is a classic red lipstick.
This is a Be Legendary lipstick in Get Fired.
It is more of an orangey red but I love a good red lippy.
This is a full size item.

The next item is an item I have not stopped using.
This is the smashbox Always sharp khol liner in raven.
This is a twist up liner.
It is so black.
It is creamy and really stays on all day.
This is the another full sized item.

The next is the final full sized item.
This is the full exposure mascara.
This gives in incredible length to your eyelashes.

The last item in this little set is my favourite.
This is the Photo finish primer.
It is oil free and half the size of the original.
I love this primer.
Between this and my laura mercier primer I don't think I'd use another one.

To me this kit is very much worth the money.
I love all the items inside.
Not everyone will but it is definitely a good value for money.
It can help you get into a brand.

Whats your favourite smashbox product???
